A Quick Reference Guide: Easy Ways to Be More Eco-Friendly

by | Nov 29, 2019 | Eco-Friendly Living

I have found that people have the misconception that being eco-friendly requires a lot of expensive purchases or an unfeasible amount of effort/time. This isn’t true at all. Sure, there are eco-friendly products that are available, and while they are more expensive than their mainstream counterparts, they often work out to be cheaper because they are either reusable or last longer than the alternative. The biggest thing about being eco-friendly is that it does require a little mindfulness or thought into what you need to do–just a little thinking ahead. It’s way easier to just go about your day without thinking ahead or being aware, but that’s just living life without being purposeful–floating around without a goal or meaning.

The easiest, cheapest, and most effective way to be more eco-friendly is to reduce your consumption of products, and be mindful of your daily choices. Be discerning about what is a want vs a need. But, below is a guide to help make your desire to be more earth-loving a bit more attainable.

I’ve put together a list of easy ways to be greener without a lot of additional effort. Everything I’ve mentioned, like household cleaners, can be found under the eco-living section of this blog (some are linked below).

For additional product information and discount codes, you can find them at the bottom of the article as well. As always, I’m here to answer questions about what I write. I love hearing from my readers! Namaste!

These berry crates have saved me from countless berries going bad, as I tend to weed out the bad berries before they even go in the fridge. I wash them as soon as I come home from the store and let them air dry before storing them in the crates in the fridge. And, bonus, they’re ready to enjoy whenever, making it easier to pack lunches or snacks!
