Do you ever have moments (or days, or weeks) where you wind up thinking, “What a waste of time! I mean, what did I actually do that was productive???” For a lot of goal-oriented people, this is our reality. But sometimes, it’s ok that your day was spent doing nothing. It’s hard to swallow that. I’m doing that this week for sure. I feel like it’s been a total time suck with little benefit, and I am doing my best not to bear that weight. You can’t be productive 100% of the time. Sometimes, things that are WORTH DOING don’t have immediate results, or even tangible results. Sometimes, you are trying to be productive and you go down rabbit holes instead. It’s okay. It’s all meant to be part of your very individual journey to what and who you are meant to be. Just let it go, breathe, and maybe go out and enjoy some yummy food.
